This website is an informational site for the Eastern Power Boat Club. It keeps things simple: there are no user accounts, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking scripts. We do not set cookies, and we do not sell or share information about visitors.
The contact form
If you use the form on our contact page, the name, email address, and message you enter are delivered to the club by email so we can reply to you. They are not stored in a database or used for anything besides answering your message.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Like nearly all web hosting, AWS keeps standard server logs that include visitor IP addresses; we use them only in aggregate, to understand site traffic and keep the site working.
Outside services
Pages load fonts and icons from third-party servers (Google Fonts and unpkg). Your browser contacts those services directly when the page loads, which means they receive your IP address as part of serving the files.
