Membership

Three ways to come aboard, whether or not you keep a boat at the dock.

Ways to Join

Pick the membership that fits your life on the water.

Regular Membership

Boat owners who require dockage

Full membership with access to a slip at the club. The home-on-the-river option for active boaters.

Associate Membership

Owners of trailered boats

For members who keep a trailered boat and want full involvement in club life without a permanent slip.

Social Membership

Community members ashore

For those who love the community and events without keeping a boat in a slip. All of the fun, none of the work. Social members may still store one canoe at the club.

How to Apply

Joining starts as a conversation.

Membership runs on sponsorship and a vote of the members, as it always has. Two current members sponsor your application, the membership elects new members by a two-thirds majority, and those elected pay a one-time initiation fee along with their dues.

The club sits on District waterfront, and applications from DC residents are highly preferred.

We’ll share current dues and the initiation fee when you get in touch.
